INSTALLATION

  1. After unboxing, carefully remove plastic bag and outer shrink wrap.  If using a sharp object, be careful not to damage product.
  2. Lay mat on side and remove straps (if applicable).
  3. Unroll mats with vinyl facing up.

CLEANING AND CARE

Proper care will help extend the life and appearance of your Floating Mat.

  • Clean as needed using mild household detergents and water
  • Light scrubbing with a soft brush or cloth is recommended to remove dirt, debris, or lake residue
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water after cleaning
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaning tools, as they may damage the vinyl surface.
  • Allow the mat to fully dry before storage, and store in a cool, dry location when not in use.

WARNING: Do not power wash or power spray the foam mat.  This may result in damaging the vinyl and/or foam.

  • DO NOT TOW OR ATTACH THE PRODUCT TO ANY BOAT OR MOTORIZED VEHICLE
  • DO NOT DIVE OR JUMP HEADFIRST ONTO OR FROM THE PRODUCT
  • USE ONLY IN WATER OF SUFFICIENT DEPTH AND FREE FROM SUBMERGED OR OVERHEAD OBSTRUCTIONUSERS ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH USE, INCLUDING THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER LOSS.

Use of this product constitutes acceptance of all risks and terms outlined in this warranty. Failure to follow safety instructions voids all warranty coverage.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Better Life Technology (“BLT”) warrants to the original purchaser (“Buyer”) only that the Floating Mat product manufactured by BLT will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal recreational use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY AND NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND SHALL EXIST IF THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN SUBJECT TO ACCIDENT, ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, IMPROPER STORAGE, OR ALTERATION OF ANY KIND.

ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, IMPROPER STORAGE, OR ALTERATION OF ANY TYPE OR CAUSE.

BLT is not responsible for damage resulting from improper use, towing, dragging, environmental exposure, or use beyond the product's intended recreational purpose.

Customer must notify BLT of any manufacturing defect within sixty (60) days of discovery. Proof of purchase is required. This warranty is non-transferable.

EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY

BLT’s limited warranty shall not cover, including but not limited to:

  • Normal wear and tear, including scuffs, abrasions, minor cuts, or cosmetic surface damage
  • Mold, mildew, or marine staining and discoloration
  • Tears, punctures, or damage caused by jumping, horseplay, or improper use
  • Damage resulting from towing, pulling, or attachment to any motorized watercraft
  • Damage from animals, including chewing or clawing
  • Damage resulting from improper cleaning or improper storage, including damage caused by folding, creasing, improper rolling, prolonged sun exposure, environmental degradation, or failure to follow the product's care and maintenance instructions. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or failure to follow safety instructions
  • Fading or discoloration resulting from normal UV exposure or weathering

BLT, in its sole discretion, shall determine whether a product defect is covered under this warranty.

No action for breach of this warranty may commence more than one (1) year after occurrence of the alleged breach.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

BLT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, PERSONAL INJURY, DROWNING, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR ANY OTHER INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES WHETHER BASED UPON BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

BLT MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OTHER THAN AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON WARRANTIES OR EXCLUSIONS OF DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY.

EXCLUSIVE REMEDY

Buyer’s exclusive remedy for any breach of this warranty shall be repair or replacement, at BLT’s sole option, within a reasonable time after notice of defect.

These remedies are the sole and exclusive remedies available to the Buyer. BLT shall not be liable for any additional costs, including shipping, handling, or replacement expenses.

BLT reserves the right to request the product to be returned for inspection at Buyer’s expense to BLT’s designated facility.

No employee or representative of BLT is authorized to modify this warranty or provide additional warranties.
