G-Floor® Care and Maintenance
Durability is built into every G-Floor® product, but like any high-performance surface, a little care goes a long way. With a solid polyvinyl construction and non-porous surface, G-Floor® resists grime, chemicals, and abrasion—making cleanup quick, easy, and stress-free.
Everyday Cleaning Made Simple
Our non-porous surface means dirt, grime, and spills sit on top—not below—so you can clean up in minutes. Here’s how to keep your floor in top shape:
Quick Clean Routine:
- Sweep or vacuum to remove dirt and grit
- Hose down or mop with cool water and a mild detergent
- Use a deck brush or soft scrub brush for textured surfaces
- Let air dry before walking or driving over it
Even oil, fish scents, suntan lotion, and muddy gear clean up easily. Just wipe spills as soon as possible to avoid stubborn stains.
Recommended Tools
- Microfiber cloths
- Broom or vacuum
- Deck brush or soft bristle scrub brush
- Soft toothbrush (for corners or seams)
- Power washer (use with caution and keep nozzle 12”+ away)

Heavy-Duty Cleaning (for Stains)
G-Floor® is stain-resistant—but not stain-proof. If left too long, certain spills can leave a mark. Here’s how to tackle tough spots:
- Rinse area with cool water to remove grit and debris
- Apply diluted cleaner and let it sit 2–3 minutes
- Gently scrub with a soft brush
- Wipe clean with a microfiber towel
- Rinse thoroughly to remove residue
- Air dry fully before walking or placing items on top
Common Stain Sources
These substances can stain if left untreated. Clean up promptly:
- Motor oil, gas, brake fluid, antifreeze
- Suntan lotion, fish scents, fuel stabilizer
- Battery acid, hydraulic fluid
- BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, red drinks, coffee
- Mildew, mold, and organic debris (leaves, bait, etc.)
Helpful Tips
- Clean spills right away—don’t let them sit
- Rinse thoroughly after using any cleaning agent
- Allow floors to dry before use to avoid slips
- Avoid cleaning with harsh chemicals near bodies of water
- Use a mildew stain remover at the first sign of discoloration
With the right care, your G-Floor® will continue performing and looking great—whether it’s in your garage, boat, trailer, or anywhere life takes you.
